Our ABA program covers a wide range of skills, including communication, daily living skills, academic development, and play and leisure activities. We tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each child and work closely with families to set achievable goals.
Program Details:
- In-Person (Centre-based)
- 1: 1 session
- 6 months of service (can vary depending on client)
- 3 hrs/session (this can vary depending on each client)
- Initial assessment prior to starting services
Eligibility:
- Child must have an ASD diagnosis
- Ages 2-18
Instructors:
- Supervised Insturctor Therapist will work 1:1 with student
- Supervised Senior Therapist will assist the IT with implementing individualized teaching strategies
- Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA/BCBA) will decide treatment plan and can assist with the implementation of strategies
What to Expect:
Our team will provide assessment and intervention services for the following skills:
- Communication skills and functional skills that promote personal independence
- Self-help skills (toileting)
- Play & leisure skills
- Visual skills (activities like matching, sorting, patterns, etc.)
- Receptive and expressive language skills
- Getting comfortable with classroom routines
Parents/caregivers will receive one training session per month in order to stay informed about their child’s learning and to learn how to effectively support their education at home.
