Part time Speech-Language Pathologist (10 hours/week)
Job Type: Part time – must be available weekday evenings and weekends – with immediate start

As the ideal candidate for the role of Speech and Language Pathologist you are energetic and attentive to detail with a commitment to individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You can demonstrate the ability to problem solve and conduct effective assessments. You will work collaboratively to provide best-practice service to clients and families. You work well independently and can show initiative. You are self-motivated, and a keen and enthusiastic learner with excellent problem solving skills.

Required experience:
• Experience working with children and adults with Autism
Required license:
•Registered member of CASLPO is required

Required education:
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Job requirements:
• Experience working with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorders
• Experience with formal and informal assessment
• Provides assessment, individualized plans and consultation
• Excellent consultative skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly
• Courteous and personable telephone manner with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage competing demands and set priorities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Being able to speak one or more South Asian languages is an asset
