COVID-19: Centre Update

To our Families, Staff, Volunteers and Donors,

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we are reaching out to reassure everyone in our SAAAC community that the SAAAC Autism Centre is deeply committed to the safety and health of its children, families, staff, and volunteers.

As a result, we have decided to temporarily close our Centre beginning Monday March 16, 2020We will be following provincial guidelines on when to reopen our facility.

All previously scheduled appointments will be rescheduled at a later date.

Proper Hygiene Practices

This poster discusses what you and your family can do to stay healthy and prevent the spread of respiratory viruses including COVID-19:

-Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer;

-Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; if no tissue is available, then sneeze or cough into the sleeve or arm;

-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;

-Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces regularly; and,

-If you feel ill, stay home until your symptoms resolve.
