July 4 to August 19
Summer isn’t summer without camp. At SAAAC, our staff, volunteers, facility and activities are all geared towards helping children and youth have an incredible summer, all the while learning a thing or two along the way
About SAAAC summer CAMP
Our Camp Staff are certified and trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). They have years of experience working with individuals with autism and are committed to creating a fun, safe, and educational environment for individuals with autism to enjoy and grow. All Camp Staff have completed Non Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention certification and have passed Vulnerable Sector checks.
Our Volunteer Camp Counsellors are some of the liveliest people you will ever meet. They bring a lot of energy and passion to their work. SAAAC’s Camp Counsellors are largely from university or college programs. All camp counsellors must go through a five hour training on how to work with individuals with autism and must clear Vulnerable Sector checks.
Campers will be supported by a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio. Given our dedicated volunteer base, this ratio is likely to be higher. Provisions will be made for campers in need of extra support.
What to Expect SAAAC Summer CAMP

Students will explore these skills through fun activities such as arts and crafts, group-based social games and most importantly through play.
