Communication is a key area affected by ASD. Our staff will work to develop effective treatment plans to help families reach their communications goals. Our Speech-Language program pursues the following avenues to help individuals communicate meaningfully:
- Non-verbal communication: understanding and using gestures, pictures and symbols to communicate
- Help child/adult follow directions, develop their vocabulary, etc.
- Social skills such as building conversation skills, developing joint attention, turn taking, etc.
- Develop play skills and more!
Each session is 45 minutes
